The City of Warman is located roughly 20km north of Saskatoon and 5km north east of Martensville.
Warman was incorporated in 1906, but had its beginnings two years earlier when Canadian Northern Railway was built from Humboldt to North Battleford. Originally called “Diamond” due to the way the rail tracks appeared when intersecting. The settlements name was soon changed after to Warman, named after Cy Warman. A journalist, author and poet who was a publicity writer for Canadian Northern and the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway.
Warman is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Saskatchewan! Between the years of 2016-2021 Warman grew an incredible 12.7%! With a growing population, The City of Warman has done a great job at providing outdoor leisure such as great parks to enjoy with family and friends, lots of foot paths to walk on, even a skate park and bike track!
